As a proud resident of University City, I enjoy browsing the University City Public Library historic photo collection of Edward Gardner Lewis (pictured above).

E.G. Lewis was the founder of U. City and began our great traditions of architecture, government and diversity. Many people are familiar with the U. City Lions and our City Hall - both of which were dreamed up by Lewis.
