    <title>Harris Armstrong</title>
    <link>http://www.ilovebernoudy.com/Site/Harris_Armstrong.html</link>
<description>Harris Armstrong (1899-1973) was a largely self-taught architect considered to be the “Dean” of the St. Louis modernists. Armstrong lived in Oakland, Missouri and built several family homes as well as his architectural office there. His earlier works show the Anglo-Norman influence he discovered while on his honeymoon in Normandy, France.

For more information on Armstrong, see Andrew Raimist’s informative blog, Architectural Ruminations. You can also search the Harris Armstrong Archives at Washington University.
